Amenities and Equipment

Cabins

Equipped with a full kitchen (gas stove, bar fridge, utensils), bathroom (shower, eco-friendly soap), queen-sized bed (160x200 cm), wood stove, air conditioning, and solar-powered electricity.

Water

  • Water in remote areas is naturally sourced and we do not recommend drinking tap water at our cabins. In some locations, the water may come from lakes or dams and may not be safe for consumption. However, it is perfectly fine for showering and washing dishes. Bringing your own drinking water is essential to ensure your comfort and safety during your stay.

  • You understand that water quality may vary in rural areas, and choosing to drink it is entirely up to you.

Special Requests

  • We will do our best to accommodate special requests (e.g., late check-out), but they are subject to availability.

  • Late check-outs are subject to availability and incur an additional fee of €20. Please contact us in advance if you wish to extend your stay.

  • TerraCabins does not provide meals, so we recommend bringing your own ingredients to prepare your own food. Each cabin is equipped with basic cooking essentials such as olive oil, salt, pepper, and vinegar to help you get started.

Safety

  • Each cabin is equipped with fire extinguishers and a first aid kit. In case of an emergency, follow the guidelines in the cabin guidebook.

  • Please follow all TerraCabins safety guidelines. Our cabins are located in remote, natural settings where immediate assistance may not always be available. For your own well-being, it’s essential to respect the safety measures in place and avoid unnecessary risks. Your safety starts with being prepared and informed.

Digital Detox

  • Consider locking your phone to enjoy a distraction-free experience.

  • TerraCabins encourages guests to "lock" their phones and fully embrace a distraction-free experience. However, it’s entirely up to each guest to decide whether to disconnect or keep their phone with them during their stay.

Firewood

  • Firewood is provided for a small extra fee. Please select the firewood option when booking.

  • Open fires are strictly prohibited during fire season, from May to October, due to the high risk of wildfires. This includes campfires, fire pits, and any other open flame. Any damages caused by fire during your stay are the full responsibility of the guest. We ask all visitors to respect these rules to help protect the land and everyone’s safety.

Parking and Access

  • Parking spots are provided at each location. Use the available cart to transport your luggage to the cabin.

  • Detailed directions and parking information will be emailed to you after booking.

Weather

  • Weather is part of the adventure. Refunds are not provided for bad weather, but we are happy to help you reschedule your stay.

  • TerraCabins provides a recommended packing list tailored to each season to help you prepare for your stay. We strongly encourage you to review it carefully and pack accordingly — being well-prepared will ensure a more comfortable and enjoyable experience, especially in remote locations where access to supplies may be limited.

  • In the event of a natural disaster or severe weather conditions that TerraCabins deems unsafe for guests, we reserve the right to cancel your booking. In such cases, we will offer to reschedule your stay for another date that is convenient for you. Guest safety is our top priority, and we appreciate your understanding.

  • You agree that only those persons indicated on the booking form will enter the cabin and the Property. Visitors are not permitted. Terracabins reserves the right to remove you from the cabin and property if this policy is not respected.
